In the story of Chaco Sandals, owner Mark Pagan, a whitewater and fishing guide, crafted a sandal two decades ago, designed for optimal foot support and quick drying in the sun. The eco-bag straps share a unique origin – sourced from the Chaco Sandal factory, which closed in 2008. Local women, including Chaco Carol, saved leftover webbing, becoming the sturdy and resilient material adorning the Eco Bag Lady Says bags.
